Some thoughts from the perspective of a MB owner...
Had a Focus Trend rental this week. It made a change from the Corolla which is what you usually get in NZ. First surprise is a dial instead of a stick. Weird, no idea why they'd do that. Then I found the indicators were on the RH stalk! The non-linear speedo is plain weird. The first third is 0-60, then 12 o'clock is 120. Useful in a 30 km/h limit, but I kept finding myself doing over 120 in 100 limits. Which brings me to the 1.5 Ecoboost, which was good fun. Ride and handling were both good but no feel from the electric power steering. And lane assist kicked in a couple of times on corners. Grr. Yet again it was nice to get back in the MB. It's now over 10 years old and as a business vehicle really should be replaced. But what am I going to buy that will at least as enjoyable to drive? Sent from my SM-G980F using Tapatalk

That thing about the speedo sounds really annoying.

It was. I assume that a digital speedo can be displayed, which tells you exactly what your speed is.
