I think these are transmission codes

Default Re: P0700, P1719 codes on a MC 2L diesel

Check for a loose earth on the LH chassis rail just under the air cleaner. If you can rotate the eyelet, then its a possibility its a bad earth and can cause the two codes you are referring to.

Could also be attributed to EGR and MAP sensor issues.

Blanked off EGR and took it for a 50km run. No codes. New EGR with cooler $724 from Ford!
