i wish to convert my mk2 cortina to a pinto 2.0, i was told that the automatic would mate and that the only thing that needs to be done is the input shaft, i was told that i would need to get one that had the same splines for the 2.0, can anyone verify this?

i no for the manual box, 1600 4spd input shaft matches the clutch on the 2ltr
auto should be the same, eitherway just give it a shot if it doesnt match change it |
