Nice ride. You sure it's not a Fairmont (black handbrake button an 'F' badge on dash spear)?

he makes a good point, EF II Ghia's got Passenger Airbag standard.
I'd say its a fairmont, not a Ghia.
How ever considering whats been done to it, its above Ghia spec anyway :P

I STILL can't understand why Ford never allowed the customer to build a manual Fairmont or Ghia - but anyway as I step off my soapbox - you have a very nice car and the perfect set of wheels to complement it HMMMM Simmons!

THe car was dyoned the other day and its making about 180 rwk but i have been advised to change the cam and manifold and it will go to just over 200 rwk...The v8 manifold has been ported but the cam lets it down so the plans are to fit an au xr8 manifold and put the right cam in that suits ...

Cheers for the comments i drive this car hard all the time and the only drama ive had is i blew 3rd gear but i had the gearbox rebuilt with stronger internals.THe internals are out out of a mustang t-5 supposed to be heaps stronger and i replaced the brass button clutch with a heavy duty one...Ive entered a few burnout comps and plan on taking it down the quarter soon...I had it dynoed recentally and its first run was 159 at the rears they played around with it and managed to get just on 180rwk they say the cam and manifold are letting it down and the fuel systen is leaning out over the 180 rwk mark the heads have been ported and the manifold has to but the manifold and cam arnt working to the engines liking so the plan is the change the cam and manifold and sort out the fuel problem and it should be around the 200 rwk mark..
