Default Nudge Bars...Do you like them?

Vehicle in qustion:

All my mates say "take it off it looks like an old farts car", where as I am undecided, I don't hate it, but I don't think its anything special either, just wondering what everyone's opinion one it was? Do you think it gives it a bit of character? Or should I just flog it off?

-Cheers.

Looks like you live in a more city set up so I would say unless you want spotties on it do away with it ........

Ive always had them on my other cars but I need spotties out here in the bush ....... although the Sprint wont be getting one ;)

If you want a nudge bar, get it in 75mm Tube. Looks a whole lot better IMO.
Unless you are going to put spotties/aerial on it, I don't see a point, as it won't help at all if you hit something...

yeah unless you are bush then get rid of it...they can look ok but to be honest its not flattering on your car at the moment.

Unless of course you go full out bogan spec and put about 3 fake antenna's on.

I've got a friend who drives a VP HSV Commodore complete with nudge bar. Personally, I'm not a fan.

The first owner of my car was from Newman (Northern WA) and fitted this one - the sticker says its actually for an AU. I want to put a Tickford front spoiler on the car so I might take it off - If not I'll have to take about 2.5" off the bottom of each side.

Granddad look dunno but it has saved the front end a few times (minor taps of course)

I dont know if its because its a wagon, or the bar is thicker, but the one on that red XR looks way better.

John, I think its to stop lowish impact bumps, but I think shoo-roo bars are about the same size and I cant see one of them stopping a roo in a hurry, but perhaps better than nothing.

Hmm.. i dont know, i reckon having those bars there would do more damage to the car infront and could leave you with two pole marks in the front.. if the hit was hard enough.

Don't see much point in them, will look WAY better without one.

Ive got a bullbar on my car. It came in really handy last week when I let a mate drive and he ran straight into a tree. :(

The damage would have been a lot worse if I didnt have one. Im gonna take it off when I get a chance. Its ugly.
They dont suit normal cars unless you like touch parking or need to put some spotties on it.

Nope. no good.
They are not practical in city or bush. They more suit bad drivers that can't park their car!
