I slept in my own bed last night after 5 days in hospital with Kidney stones.
It felt so good and I built a fire for the fireplace as it was freezing.

They put stents in and some came out during that process. I go back in in 3 weeks for the rest of the job.

I had kidney stones when I was 19.
I had gout a few years later.
My doc said Congrats, you've now had 2 of the 3 most painful things to endure.
I asked the question.....3rd was childbirth.
Still managing to avoid that one.

Earlier today i returned to my car and the van parked beside me had the bonnet up. So an older couple, i only understand english but could tell the wife was dissapointed at her husband. So i asked if it was a dead battery? I knew it was because the vans headlights were on and brown. So yes he says, having jumper leads in my car i offered a jump.
Right that worked and they were both very thankfull, but then he goes for his wallet as if he owes me money. No no no. For a 4 step procedure from my end, as in grab the leads, pop my bonnet, connect the leads then start my car 1st, that minute of my time to just help out someone is not for monetary gain. But hey, minimal effort from my end un ruined other peoples day.

Still unsure why older asian peoples always throw their wallets at you for just doing what you do. Its called being a nice person. A, it didn't costs me any money. B, it didn't take any time out of my day and C, i have no C. But its just what you do.

I hope you have more luck then I did with the stents, I had Kidney stones last year. Evidently some people's bodies reject the stents and they have to be taken out early, the pain was just as bad as the stones initially.

It's a good feeling once they yank the stent though and out it come in a flash of speed, if you haven't already experienced it previously don't worry you don't feel much thanks to the numbing gel, it's a weird sensation though.

Because they can’t help being polite towards others for they don’t expect it.
They come from ungrateful dog eat dog life compared to us lifestyles of the last 100yrs.
Even my old euro mum keeps saying how nice and polite Asians are here compared to some migrants.
Especially in the medical system as well.
