The second one is the complete assembly, whereas the first one is just the pump unit which fits inside the assembly. Mind you, the first one is not quite right. It has a horizontal output pipe, whereas the factory is vertical.

This is the Walbro GSS342 I installed in my factory cradle. Email Justin at sales@tuffcarparts.com He will give you a good deal.



As for the arguement which is better - I cannot really comment. All I do know is it is not uncommon for the factory units to fail or loose performance - as in your case.
