Hey yas. Got a 98 festy that needs guards and a bonnet. Looks like I can get hold of a 96 model. Any ideas on will this stuff fit at all. I don't know anything about these things. Model changeover dates etc. Help be appreciated.

Won't fit. Lights are different so profile where lights key in with bonnet and guards will not match. If you got the whole front end you may do a swap but then your model will be dated back in the looks dep.
98 is roughly when the updated front came in. You need parts from 98 to 00. 1998 Festiva front:  1996 Festiva Front:  Edit..... After looking back and forth between those 2 pictures they look pretty close don't they?? (gaurds / bonnet).
