Your bookmarks, in the file bookmarks.html, are in your old profile--if you did not delete that profile. If you did not, just copy the file to the new profile, restart Firefox.
or

you need to copy your user files from your old profile to your new profile ...

Funnily enough this happened to me a few nights ago - all the bookmarks just died. I also get that error you have in the pic quite often, but after persisting with it it usually loads them up.

Seems Firefox isnt as perfect as it was cracked up to be - still heaps better than IE but just a few really annoying little glitches.

Yeah, if it brings up that error while youre trying to get to a site, just click ok, go up to the address, highlight it as its typed and press enter. It may take a few times but it should usually end up working.

I think Mozilla do quite well considering their size and budget compared to Microsoft and their POS browser.

I had to use cc leaner the other night to sort out issues with Firefox.

Basically deleted everything, both from control panel and windows explorer, ran ccleaner at least 5 times after each boot and it finally deleted and removed everything.

Reloaded and its been a dream since

Also used Pc On Point to fix the registry

So bloody true, they get their updates out when there is a problem ASAP too.

I like the error reports that come up when it realises something has gone wrong, I've only ever had to do it once. Unlike IE where you constantly get error reports and they so SFA about it.

Yeah i dont think anyone is having a dig at Firefox, I love it over IE, all I was saying was that it would be good to get it 100%. Im having a bit of trouble installing the latest version too, so hopefully I'll get that sorted out soon.

Yeah, considering firefox is free they do a fantastic job. It also shows how much bloatware IE is, because firefox is only 4.7meg.

I'd check to make sure you dont have any proxy settings and try selecting 'direct connection to internet' in firefox.

There is a extension for firefox out there that puts all of your bookmarks in an xml file, which you can then run off a server i think... have a look around, a lot of those problems that have been mentioned are fixed with extensions that people have made.

And if your going to download anything, grab Adblock. Best. Extension. Ever.

if IE is loading them. I'd say you've blocked Firebox net access via firewall. Since the IP's 10.blah.blah.blah it looks like you possibly have the same ADSL modem as me. In your config make sure your connected to the net. Going by IE you are. Open your firewall and allow firefox to access the net.

If your in Bigpond like me. They are constantly having DNS issues. So sometimes you have to click twice! :
