Hey look, they parked it next to a whole tree full of ugly sticks - I guess it must have been hit with every one of them : It's a shame really, I always thought of them as being one of the nicer looking mid-size cars (and with a decent smack of performance to match)

That is awful! The WRX looked so much better as a sedan. Even the bug-eyed model looked heaps better

WRX owners are well and trully up in arms about this for sure. Let's just say Mitsubishi is going to get a lot of business (not mine because I think they are as bad as eachother in beauty). I can tell you now in a poll about 80% dislike it on RexNet.
I more ****ed off that the value of my WRX is going down due to this ugly excuse of a car. Next car will be a peanut STi, Liberty GT, or R34 GT-R I reckon. Failing that I'll be in an F6 or XR6T. I can skip on build quality as long as it looks good : I tell you what its performance better offset it's uglyness otherwise it will be hard to sell it to current owners. Let's face it we've put up with the bugeye and pignose and now is the time to say bring back the GC8. Make it the cult car like it used to be and not just a victim of mass production. Bring sexy back Subaru! : |

All I know is I'd never think about a hatch WRX and I think the only reason they are going this route is because of WRC. Still no idea on what versions we will get here. The sedan Impreza doesn't look to bad but I doubt it will leap frog the current one in performance. Some are hoping for 220kw for the WRX and 260kw for the STi which is easily achievable but I doubt it. |

You could buy a Mazda3 and chuck on a scoop and come up with the same result. Only difference is the Mazda looks good! |

They just keep butchering one of the coolest cars of our time. It has been going down hill for the last 7 years and now ROCK BOTTOM! How many different designs will they try? Should have stopped in 1999 when they peaked.

I reckon it looks good. Sort of a cross between the new mini, and the little Pug 207s. A bit weird, but then so was the AU and we all know how that story ended (BF).

You would have thought the Japanese, being an adaptive fairly switched on Lot would have realised that the hatch is a mistake??

That is a freaken monstrosity!
I was deadset on leasing a brand spankers WRX in September when my current lease expires (actually been looking forward to it for a while now, just to try something different) and this is what I get....yuck. Only positive I can see is the current model will be in run out and I love the look (especially the front) of the current one.

Looks like a dropped pie. Terrible. We'll wait for the inevitable "it looks better in the flesh" comments once the thing is released. No thanks.

The only Rex models I've liked are the ones before and after the Bug Eyed model.
