Hey guys hows it going? Just wondering whether the interior light can be turned off while the car doors are still opened as sometimes when its really hot i tend to open the door and that interior light doesn't seem to turn off and I don't want it to waste the battery.... Any help/ideas would be much appreciated! Thanks

It should switch off the interior lights off after an hour or so automatically, so it won't kill your battery. I do it all the time.

You could pop the globe out, or if its like my old XC there is a fuse you can pull. Or you can buy an ex cop car. They have the courtesy licght switches disabled, or at least the unmarked car I had for a taxi did.

yea au cop cars came with an interior light kill switch, and i believe there is a loom for it behind the centre console dash. so all u need is that switch and that plastic part with two holes in it, one for the demister switch and the other for light switch.
