Exclamation WANTED: WADE 1521a CAM

does anyone have a Wade 1521a cam they would like to sell me? :

i would buy one from wade but they dont have any billet. i need one to run with the headwork and compression increase i have just done. the crow 549 isnt big enough any more : ............. even something of similar size, as long as its a billet.

just go a 977b, they are a very similar cam to 1521a just a touch smaller, and only 120

$120 for a wade 977b? Is that brand new straight from Wade? Sounds like a good price. How much would it cost to get a cam from a wreakers and get a re grind to similar specs?

I have said it before but you can get the 1521a in a regrind speak to kieth there i was talking to him only yesterday and with the base circle on a standard cam you can go as large as 292 tho before it needs to be billet.
Also note the 1521a is a good cam but if your car is rev limited which i am guessing it isnt by now its useless and also it was actualy made for jason gillets gas turbo set up so there may be a wilder cam out there that would suit your aplication better.

the 977b is a fair bit smaller in the duration than a 1521a. and a bit smaller in the lift. i need more duration.

yer, the 1521 has a higher lobe sep, better suited to turbos. if it could be ground with a 110lsa it would be a better performer me thinks. also my car is not rev limited.

the 992A has 588 vlavle lift and kieth soomed to htink he should be able to do that on a regrind howver you wouldnt be ablet o shim it youd need to machine the rocker pedistals to suit. sing out if you want the specs on it.

1603 is too small. i just want bigger than i have now (crow 549) but not as big as the crow 546 i had. that was way too big for my motor. tuning was a biitch!

because i have the chiptourqe, it will run a 1521a no worries. so thats what i am aiming for.
