What model is it? Unless it's an XR/Mont, I reckon you've got buckleys of selling it for that much.... Market value is around $8000 max...

Trust me you don't want to know what it's worth!
Go to any city car auction and watch how much AU's get. Take a hanky with you! |

According to the car valuer on http://www.drive.com.au/buy/market_value/ , if its a standard au3 falcon forte , then it looks like what you are asking is about the top of the private sale price range , private sales starting around 9,500 .

Yesterday I was offered 8-11k on my 2001 SR sedan with 93,000 kays. That was a trade in value (unsighted) on a 98 S1 Fairmont Ghia V8 (full leather) with 196,000 kays that they wanted 12K for.
My car is an I6 on gas. Too many kays IMO and although I'm tempted (always wanted a Ghia) I'd rather not go the S1. In any case, I know what I've fixed on the SR and what else is needed, with another car, especially with 200K on the clock, who knows what I'd need to get sorted? LOL! All the best with your sale. GK
