That is a term used my muppets that dont know what is really done to their motor.

ie.muppet: "This is my commodore, it is fully worked. It would chop your EA."
Me: "Whats done to it?"
muppet: Everything, its fully worked.

Quite similar to "Fully Sik Bro", quite often used in the same sentence.

I don't think it's for those who don't know what their engine has had done to it. More often than not it probably is but it's no different than saying "It has a warm 351" or "Hot 351" just saves time.....If someone is asking at the petrol station and you're in a hurry or can't be buggered going through 2 spread sheets worth of engine work it's easier just to say: "Fully worked 351, C4 with shift kit, 2 year resto, goes hard".

it is actually a term originating from mechanics who just charged "Mr Doof Doof Don't have a clue" $8k for a set of roller-rockers('cause a car just wont go without'em), double valve springs(to ensure they stretch and he'll be back in no time), a stage 1 crow cam(low end torque and fuel economy), solid lifters (for that clacky sound), extractors (for that barky sound), gaskets (for that not leaky look) and a dyno tune (to justify the $6k he was just ripped off)...

Mmmm. I know exactly what's been done to my motor and my insurance papers say "mildly worked engine" in the box under modifications. That's saying it's still drivable, lol.

most people who use the words "FULLY WORKED" & "SICK BRO" in the same sentence probably only have a cummodore with a cat back exhaust and some lame a55 HSV rims on it. I bet they wear a white singlet, with kappa tracksuit pants, white shoes, multiple gold chains around their neck and a mullet 'poita' will be proud of. :

I see fully worked as meaning everything has been replaced/modified to be better then original, from new pistons, crank, blue printed, journals strengthened, cam, rockers, rods, cam springs, everything is way better then stock and its making a big load more power then factory as well is a fully worked engine.
