i went on a car cruise in adelaide and an R34 Skyline came to the meet. he opened the bonnet, it had a Gen III (LS1) twin turbo in it. AWESOME.
it was built by GT autosound so it will definately be in the drift scene. the last jap car they built was in AutoSalon so no doubt this one will be too. i didnt take any pics but i found this on the net. enjoy http://videos.streetfire.net/hottest...bd00839a49.htm |

There's a R33 going around as well with a tough NA setup, apparantly the LS1 is about 14kg lighter than a RB25....! I'd do the conversion if I liked Skylines and Holdens.

I remember when i had the most wicked skyline obsession, i mean the mere mention of it would put me in a drooling hard on inducing catatonic state.. and granted i'd still like to own one i've gone back me ford root's, since then (surse holywood movies hehehe). but still...... DAMN!

yes it was an RB26DETT with just the Single HUGE Turbo and that came out of the S15 Question is why would u do that to a Skyline? they make good power with just limited mods if it was a GTR would of made at least 400hp with just minor mods same with the GTT |

well.. why not? haha.. just to do something different i suppose.. i guess instead of doing all the same things that every man and their dog does with their liner, these guys decided to do something way different lol.. imagine that pulling up beside you, and having that kinda roar.. would scare the hell outta ya lol..

Weird......ultimate insult to Jappas for me is their "flagship" bogan RX7 Mazda series getting a V8 dumped between the shock towers. : Few of those around......
The R32 is the only Jap car I like, any of the Godzilla family tree deserves at least a little respect. Although I think the R32 is a nice car I would never buy one.

I've got a mate with a F6 typhoon and a brother inlaw that has a R34 GTR v-spec II and I can say without a doubt that the skyline would thrash the F6 in every aspect. For being about 4 years older the skyline is way ahead of anything they build at ford or holden.
I can understand the attraction of more power from the ls1 without the reliability issues of trying to squeeze that much from the RB26. |

Believe it or not, and a few others can vouch for me. Have seen a MX5 with an LS1 stuffed in it!
