Default Removing parcel shelf help!!

My dad has an au and were just wandering how to replace the rear speakers, in the manual it says to remove the rear parcel shelf, but theres no where in the manual that says how to remove it?
any help would be great

take the speaker grill offs there only plastic easy to get out, thats what i did. Dont need to take the parcel shelf off.

what he said ... sometimes the grill are glued in too tho so it can be a little "sticky" to take em off

The grilles are held in by little clips attached to the grilles.

So "pop" the clips out and you should be fine.

possible to take a pic of the clip in question??

im looking to remove my rear speakers also.

ithey are 4 little plastic feet located on teh grill itself which just need to be pushed towards the inside of the grill to pop em off, however ford broke all 4 of mine when they did a warranty replacemnt of my speakers, hence glued em back in

just get a small flat blade screwdriver.

and work your way around the cover, using the screwdriver to wedge it up, and the clips will up pop.

then just use a socket to undo the torx? bits. thats what i did. piece of p!ss.

and be careful not to scratch your window tint, if you have it.

aaa so the plastic part has lil clips that go under the shelf itself not just the grille metal part!!

makes sense now

will give it a go on the weekend thanks guys

Spot on. 5 or 5.5mm socket works on the torx bits
