Default Panasonic Network MFC Printer issues

Its unlikely anyone here will have experienced one of these things, but i guess its wortha try.

I got a DP-1820e Panasonic MFC printer / copier / fax and im having issues connecting it to a network. Not totally sure on how old it is but it comes with Win Xp drivers, so it cant be dinosaur years old and should be compatible.

Now when i go to add it as a network printer, either manually in windows or via the CD there is no go, says it cannot find it. Does anyone know if theres any way of trying to connect to this thing and what the IP address might be, im at hte point where im going to have to get a Panasonic tech out tomorrow to fix it if i dont find a solution, and ive tried google.

Cheers!

You'll need to set up LPR (TCP/IP port), follow from page 32 in the user manual below:
http://panasonic.com.au/content/libr...es/F000957.exe

This assumes you have installed the driver on the PC already (you can say its using LPT1, doesn't really matter at this stage), just so long as the printer is there in Printers so you can do the above steps.

Hope this helps mate!
