Your latter point sounds normal. Your earlier point doesn't make much sense!

When the car is doing 70km the torque locks up, when I go up a very small hill it unlocks. Driving down the freeway at 110km start going up a hill it drops back to three. The car is going up the hill easy no need to drop back. The car makes a alot of power. I do not understand.

Sounds normal, the torque convertor isn't suppose to stay locked under load, the clutch isn't strong enough. Does your car rev right out at WOT or is it changing early?

On another note, I couldn't help thinking of Dr Tran when I read the title LOL.
/everyone googles Dr Tran :P

I have owned alot of falcons eb gli, el gli, el xr6, and au vct xr6.
All of them did not change all the time like this one. In power mode it will rev right out.
