On Friday night, I had the pleasure to drive Russel Ingall and James Courtney and a very hot looking, Miss V8 Supercar through the streets of Surfers Paradise .... GCFordChic and GCPursuitPower were there also....
Guys, I got to tell you, it was unbelievable... The roar of the crowd was so intense and when Russel ask me to give the motor a bit of a rev.. "No worries dude" I then proceeded to bounce the needle of the 7000 rev limiter..... The crowd then went totaly spastic.. Holy cow, it was awesome... I hope I can do it again next year..... Good thing is, it's not over yet. We still have the V8 drivers procession today and Indy car driver procession tomorrow.. With a bit of luck, I might get the ute seen on TV... |

Thats unreal Jabba....good work. Your ute looks outstanding
That lovely lady is the Miss V8 Supercar 2006, Riana Crehan. Very cute, and she spends a bit of time talking trash with Bradley, Cromley, and Rusty on PanelBeaters. I didn't realise Russle Ingall was such a short-****.

Your car looks spectacular, Cant wait to see it on track, chances are it will be shown, always show last years champion, and most of the other top 5 or 6 drivers! Russell, looks more relaxed than James... The whole, 'wearing the shirt out' look appears to be much more relaxing...

I saw a blue AU with BA Supercar front bar, and was sure I'd seen that on the forums a couple of days ago. Is that the one?

Hi everyone!
It seems we were spotted by some eagle-eyed Fordforum-ers! Thanks to everyone for noticing and for posting nice comments about the car. We were lucky to make it into this year’s Indy events because the Pursuit wasn’t fully ready until Monday. We are so glad we got to be a part of it, it has been THE BEST Indy we have ever had. It started on Thursday when we were in the driver parade through the streets of Surfers Paradise. We had Champ Car drivers Briscoe and Wilson from Rusport in the back as well as the gorgeous Indy girl Tammy. We were lucky enough to get Lowndes, Courtney, Ingall, Whincup and Luff to sign our dash and Jen’s car club shirt. These guys were great, they showed up early to the park where we started from and signed everything and had photos with many people and were happy to have a bit of a chat. We admired these guys before, but it is great to see just how friendly they are. Then there was the driver parade on track today… it was truly a great experience. We were lucky enough to have the champion Russell Ingall ride in the back. He came up before he jumped in, said hello and shook hands (despite being told a few times to get straight in and get ready to go). That was enough to keep us beaming all the way around the track. We hope you enjoy our photos. Thanks again for your support! Brett and Jennifer (GCPursuitPower and GCFordChic)

Forgot to say...
We also got to go for a parade lap last night (no drivers in the tray) and were able to 'give it' a little around the track. They guy in the Holden behind later told us he had trouble keeping up each time we accelerated away! hehehe Wore my V8 Princess t-shirt (my avatar) today with pride and if when you look closely enough in the tv footage you can just see it! lol The promo and Indy girls I talked to in the pits liked it...I was pleased...gorgeous Indy girls complimented me!! lol
