it will be a bit harder then. but i got a street fords mag with a 351 EB XR8 in it, and because the 302 is the same block and all that as the 351 it slots straight in with all manifolds, (i'm pretty sure that's what the article said) so if you get an XR8 loom and computer it should all be sweet. even easier if you carby the motor

ebfalcs.....the 302 from an EB is a windsor.

it is not the same block as a 302 or 351 cleveland

it is exactly the same deal to convert a 6 cyl or V8 eb to clevo

do it then if its only going to be used on the strip you can do what ya want without the road legals coming into play

1 thing though is if it gets into a certain time bracket on the strip you need to comply with a few racing specs

there are a few good sites to look at but im not sure of the exact site addys but i will look them up for you if you want but im sure that if you did a search for drag racing in australia you will find all the info you require

hope this helps

1tufel, you can't do that. 302Ws will only take up to a 347ci stroke & bore. As for the rotating assembly, I'm unsure whether a 302C's rotating assembly is the same as a 302W or not.

Ghia5L, it wouldnt be. Bore and stroke may be the same, but isnt the windsor a 60 degree V? If it is, the crank pin 'timing' (for lack of a better word) would be different..

that said, i really, really want to see a 351W in an E-series. If a clevo can fit, surely a bigger windsor can.

the 351 windsor block is different to a 302 windsor block...the 351 has a taller deck height to allow for the extra stroke....

its true that the 302 windsor block will only go out to 347

Windsor is a 90deg Vee, not 60deg.

Clevelands and Windsors are a fair bit different internally, not many parts interchange between the 2, and really, why would you, when there's unlimited amount of Windsor parts available from the US.

Exactly, why would you cripple a Clevo with Wheezer parts anyway?
