gday all
im looking at purchasing a ea that has a weird plate on it this is the info on the plate ( i have a photo on my mobile but cant put it up) G.P.SPORTSCARS-GPS CEO/TSS NO.06-1993 JG32JE *****T-G the last row coinisides with the normal compliance plate on the car hope someone can help me on this jason

i now know this car is regoed with a v8 so it looks more promising i just would like to know what the compliance plate means jason

well a bit of an up-date for you all
the car that im looking at getting is a ea with a 5 ltr engine it is currantly regoed in vic with the v8 although the plate is not for a v8 conversion jason

Ah so thats what you wanted me to host? Still need it, its pretty much as you described
 Id try FDC first, if you haven't already. I think the better question is who the heck is "G.P.SPORTSCARS-GPS". It would have to been a listed company somewhere along the line, even ask other aftermarket people if they have heard of it before.

Probably a semi-aftermarket build similar to the AIT turbos.
Noone knew about those supercharged EAs so i dare say factory built v8 EAs certainly could exist. |

yup i tied fdc but the person i need to speak to is on holidays
i have found out that the car was orig a supercharged ea but has now been converted to a v8 the plate i still not sure about but it is currantly registered with a v8 and i got the v8 info from vic roads jason

ok people here is the go
this was the car i was looking at  as you all can see the car looks great but as i found out today from my insurance company it has been smashed 4 times 2 of them were right offs and this they informed me it would be imposiable to get insurance on it the car did check out as a v8 conversion but as far as the twin screw supercharger it could not be confirmed sorry to have been a pain in the butt i was hoping this would be a good buy jason
