steering wheel, gear boot, console lid and handbreak yet to be done.
will get some decent pics wheni get home. you can see the door trim insert that has been done in the second pic though. super super comfortable, custom cross between a recaro and a herrod seat, the perfect mix of comfort and performance i think. done in beautiful soft leather really nice, gotta love that smell. Kev's customs in brisbane is where they were done, at mates rates. |

you get what you pay for, it could be done for less then 1100 depending on choice of leather, exact design etc..

If I may offer my opinion, they look fantastic, but you need some chrome door handles to finish it all off, it'd be $60 well spent. Nice work though!

Love the leather and the back of the seat but the base is a bit too high and nobby looking for me. Would make it a bit fo a pain getting in and out of wouldnt it??? Definatly now need a new momo wheel to match that leather and some wooden door spears to go with the new handles already recomended.

The base of the seat is what i was after, it's only slightly more difficult to get in and out of then the standard seats. the picture is a little bit deceptive as to how nobby the base is as well, they are exactly the seat i wanted so i'm happy as a driver in a comfy chair! lol.

Nice indeed ... I'd love leather in the work ute ... but I reckon I'd wear it out pretty quick getting in and out all of the time working.
Looks the goods though. I'd love to have a more supportive seat as the stock XLS seat is pretty ... well ... armchair too soft.

the new leather even the new suede is really awesome mek.... if you look after the leather it will outlive you! it's easier to clean, warmer in winter you don't stick to it like vinyl, and i find it far far more comfortable.
your worreis about it wearing out are pretty unfounded esp with the new leather these days. p.s. i'm suprised nobodys noticed anything outof place in the pictures. |

He has a LOT of lights on the ute.
Front large fog lights .... two Lightforce 240s on a nudge bar. 4 LightForce 240s on the sportbar (I think they need a seperate switch from the front 2 larger lightforce lights as they aren't allowed to be used on the road). Would light up the MCG better than the current setup.

correct on the switches.
1 for the electric ariel, 1 for the fog lights, 1 for each pair of driving lights. The head rests are incorporated into the seats as one item, hence the recaro style comment in my previous post. the vinyl floor is great actually i really like it, perfect for me. ORB. |

Open the door? i haven't got out yet I'm writing this from the ute... :lookedat:
In all seriousness though, i used to get a bit stiff and cramped on long trips, but driving back from brisbane via coffs and canberra last week i have absoloutely no complaints. they are just awesome great lumbar support, awesome shape to the base keeps the legs in just the right spot. and the headrest is no tall enough for me to rest back on. i'll be in geelong in dec i'll have to go on a cruise let you all have a seat. thanks for the compliments guys.
