Default shock recommendations

Afternoon all

Im in the market for new shocks to suit my EF xr6. Its currently sitting on Super low kings and standard shocks.

So far the only shortend shocks to suit these springs that i can find are Pedders GSR. They sound on the money but they want 650 bucks a set!

Should i stop being a tight **** and pay the 650 or should i be looking elsewhere?

cheers
Tim

Koni (you can get them externally adjustable) or Bilstein would be my first preference, but they're more expensive than Pedders. Both are rebuildable too - although the Bilsteins are quite costly to get serviced. Otherwise the Pedders gear comes in at a fairly decent price for good gear.

Unless you are doing track work I really dont see the point with adjustables.

If you want value for money, monroe GT gas is pretty good. But if you have some cash to spend then like the others said, you cant go past koni's or bilstiens.
