Its Foci (Pronounced: Folk-eye). Like Radii is the plural for Radius.

Take that from a Student of English Language and lexical studies.

As you'd say on Millionaire, I'm 100% certain. It just seems weird calling a bunch of cars Foci thats all.

Foci.

Focus has the same masculine singular noun structure as the common latin noun "servus" meaning servant. The plural of servus is servi. Focus would follow in the same form.

It is bad english to plce an "es" on the end of a noun ending in "us". Much like octopus (octopi), hippopotamus (hippopotami) and thesaurus (thesauri).

There. High school latin did come in handy after all!!

Yeap definitely Foci, I'm outnumbered 2 to 1 in the driveway by the buggers and they were always referred in the household as that.

I know proper English is Focii, but I say Focuses

This is because the Focus is the name, if changed to be english correct, it would lose its brand recognition.

Its similar to Marcus. If there was a few of him they wouldn't be referred to as Marcii.

This is one of the few times I would go against correct English, and say Focuses. It sounds incredibly stupid saying Foci, especially talking about a car.

ok.. now for something a bit more interesting. During a quiet moment of reflection and navel lint cleaning today I had a thought.

If a carpark full of Focus vehicles would be referred to as a Carpark full of FOCI, would a room full of guys named Marcus be referred to as a Room of MARCI?? Its a name, its a group of them so the same english grammer rules would apply correct?

I'd have thought that plurals for brand names (or proper nouns, for that matter) are exceptions to rules otherwise applying.

One Holden Statesman; two Holden Statesmans (c.f. Statesmen)

One Toyota Camry; two Toyota Camrys (c.f. Camries)

One Sony Walkman; two Sony Walkmans (c.f. Walkmen)

Therefore, one Ford Focus, two Ford Focuses.
