Ok kids, Ideas time, after the Peter Warren all ford day and the amoutn of interest and comments on the 20's they're staying, to complement them immensely i've decided it may be time to look into air suspension, a friend of a friend has recently done it to a camry so i'll be doing some enquierys and pricing, i'm also going to get the darker taillights and fogs, the proper zetec headlights, goign to debadge, and maybe a different coloured for badge, here's a quick photochop, let me know what you think

Idea itself is great, I saw the car at PW and was actually surprised at how good the rims look in real life(wasnt sold on it when i first saw it on here).
There is a place here that does airbags, I think he may also sell the bags and parts to fit them seperately too, he has a Territory on 24" rims with bags and it looks pretty good. Let me know if you want his details, he does all the mini trucks around here etc, I think he may have also done an XR6 ute not long ago.

Did you say there was a special on Cardigans at KMart as well when you heard about the Camry?
Your car would look neat with airbag suspension... plus with the added bonus, no towies could get their wheel thingies under the car to move it on to their tray! Last edited by Martyvan; 18-08-2006 at 03:59 PM. Reason: damn speeling errors's :) |

Potentially, I dont think they can move your car if there is a chance of damage in the process of putting it on the back of the tray........
too many legal and financial implications...... |

looks good mate, but ive toyed around the idea of the XR8 bulge as well, not sure how it would look on your car, cause its a buldge and has curves where as your car seems to attract straight and defined lines, not sure, do a photshop and show us how it turns out...

Yeah, haven't got it yet. Waiting on an extension of my mortgage to go through
Not making any decisions on what mods etc I'm going to do on my Focus until I've got it, but if you got and pics of the 20's post them and how much you want for them? Minor problem. Im in Perth. Shipping could be a killer. |
