Maurie,

I got my Venom Paint mixed in an aerosol can from Auto One in Penrith. They have a paint mixing facility and from memory not that dear either. For touchup's i found it 100x better than the Ford stuff you buy in a bottle n brush.

Damn, if only you were in Melbourne as I have a couple of cans lying around, I bought mine from Preston Motors.
Details on can are;
524 DULON STD BCM Col Ref:2BMNB (49558)
FORD F Code:UU
Blueprint.

Hope that helps.

Mick

Thanks Mick! ;)

So the can works wonders for a small chip out of the paint? What about overspray? Or do you newspaper around the area you want to do?

Yeah, mask off the area as you will get over spray, for small chips I just spray some paint in the lid and use a small and thin paint brush and throw a few coats on it. Best thing to do after is to give it a clay bar and a wax and it comes up brand new, well nearly.

You can go to Autobahn, Repco, Supercrap ect and should have your colour pre made in a can. There is a person on ebay selling touch up can not spray cans of BA colours. They are said to be Ford original with ford stickers over them. Search BA Ford.

2. For any possible future chips, touch ups etc

Hey Mick, I called an Auto One up here today, he said I needed 2 cans like 2 stages ? having the same colour is this the case ?

Thanks

First I've heard of that one, Maybe he was saying you need an undercoat for it or something in those lines since you are painting plastic??
I'm the same as you, due to it being low :evilsasmo I've had the odd scrape under the front bar which only I could see but touched it up anyways.
Just make sure you mask up good as overspray is your ENEMY :Up_to_som
