Can get them sideways with wheels on them in wet anyway. They are not on there rims that is the final drives. Also the front hubs. The little one is pretty big I dont even come up to the top of the tyres.

Got adjustable shocks kinda like air bags already. So I just drop and go. LOL.

They are a big V16 Cat engine. Called a 3516. Can make anywhere between 900 to 1400 Hp. Dunno what thoese particular one are making.

It is a cruiseship. She was the second biggest in the world. (Now 3rd)

100,000hp, made the 140,000 gross ton ship do 27 knots ahead, 17 knots astern or 5 knots sideways. That and 5000 people onboard!

She actually turned in less than 1000m for an emergency, but would have made a hell of a mess. : Tried to turn at no more than 5 degrees per minute at high speed.

Given that it would use a great deal of fuel, did it travel at "high speed" very often?

No usually we ran only on two of the six engines. That would give
us 14 knots, and use about 4600 Litres an hour

shame the servo wouldn't take the 4c litre off with a docket

How do you get to 'drive' one of those? Cruise ship driving instructors are not very common!

My qualifications took about 8 years to get, Master Mariner, so am licenced to drive pretty much any ship in the world. Ths ship is the Adventure of the Seas. With Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, who I worked for for 3 years
