Very pale silver, black or white.

Could also go with something different too, like gold, dark blue or purple.

None.

Don't do it ! It will spoil a nice car.

Stripes on XR's is trying too hard.

I was going to say either slightly lighter or slightly darker than the current vehicle colour ... make it subtle.

I think slightly lighter than factory colour.

Are you going stripes down the doors ... or over the roof/bonnet/boot???

I dont think there are any stripe that will suit that colour, sorry.

XRs look better stripe-less anyway.

well she did ask....

and I say none...the only stripes that look good on XR's are the bonnet decals on a XR8 and thats it. Period.

None, or you could go for some Menace coloured stripes.

By the way, welcome to AFF.

we've got white bonnet stripes on the ute (go check the avatar for F6Tornado).

I want reflective ones over the top as he looks evil at night with the headlights on.

Only problem is that we got the first tornado off the production line in menace and got the bonnet stripes - i've now seen at least 2 xr utes in SEQ with them on and frankly I wanted an unusual vehicle so I'm looking at other paint options if we keep the ute.

Well everybody knows I never miss an opp to post a pic of my pride and joy.

I could only chose betweent the FPV colour combos for Menace when I ordered my car which was white or orange but I think the white looks damn hot.

I don't really approve of stripes on non FPV vehicles but thats most l likely due to the fact that I am an elitest snob. :king: _2: _ :

You mention bonnet stripes on the Tornado bonnet? How do you put the stripes on there with out the bulge?

yep you sure are an elitest snob girlie....

How does Lynton cope with your obvious disapproval of stripes on non FPVs?
: :

First choice would be the white, but I like kinksta & Mechan1k's thoughts on a darker colour than the car... that would make it stand out for sure...

Good luck with what ever you decide.. Don't forget to show us your pics once you have decided.... :

Why don't you put a nice pic in the Photochop Forum so the guys can Chop some nice stripes in different colours for you.

All you have to do is Flutter your Eyelashes and they'll do anythng.

I'm wierd, I reckon Toxic or Rapid would look awesome as stripe colours.

Like I said, I'm wierd.

Cheers,
