The link dosn't tell you much, but apparently the EU has found that in China there is at least one counterfeit Ferrari. Now I admit, I did really care much about the entire counterfeit debate before, but this has the Italian blood in me bubbling. When a company builds a reputation on having the best of the best, dickheads like this inadvertedly are helping to destroy that reputation. All I can hope is that the fake's are so poor that they struggle to survive a month at the most. Is this a problem that is spiralling out of control? I dont know to much about the subject, but I mean, we are going from fake Nike T-shirts to Ferrari's! What next? And all in the relative safety, far away from the Western World, of China!

Nothing new here. Anything with value can expect to be imitated and copied. Also it can be expected someone will try to copy it so close and sell it as the real deal.

The car that has been copied appears to be a 66/67 P3 or P4... one of 6... One changed hands in 2000 for over $5.5Million USD.

Im sure that the copy will be nothing like the real deal...I dont think the Chinese can produce an engine that would sound like a Ferrari....
