Default NEW uncracked BOSS record!

Well done Ratter, the big red pursuit that keeps getting quicker.

12.23@112.5 full weight car at heathcote today.

Car went like a trooper all day, 60's in the 1.84-1.89 range, and ran several 30's and ran into the 114 mph bracket, ran 112's like they were on sale.

Good on you Mick, Pitlane Automotive and APS Frankston for another fine achievement.

P.S - mind telling us about the "x" pipe mick? lol

Car prepared by Pitlane Automotive Frankston and APS Frankston - all we did was supply the airbox and tune, which Mick at APS also had a hand in.

Mick has fabricated his own X pipe. sounds awesome!

So is it the standard catback with the x pipe or is it an aftermarket catback.

it was a cool 18 degrees, but with an indifferent altitude of 2200ft. Same MT's, they are nearly run in.

Leigh, Mick made his own X pipe.

Thanks guys

Thanks Chris for all the helpful advice
The car was run as driven on the street (nearly a 400 klm round trip to the track and back), except for drag radials on steel rims on the rear (yes spoolman, same as the LS1 nationals) also minus hardcover and spare wheel, I weighed the car as it is a few weeks back and it was 1820 kg
No need to even run any octane aditives, just BP Ultimate as Chris has tuned it how I want to be able to drive it on the street.

The exhaust is difillipo extractors and high flow cats and the rest of the system is an off the shelf X'force system, but I remade the front Y section to my own likings.

The best it ran was 12.23 @112.42 mph, but itslo ran a 114.68 mph and a few 113 mph.

I also ran a 12.44 with the air con :

With that weight, 1820kg, imagine what a car with a weight off around 1500-1600kg with the Boss engine would do, so it show's the Boss has the mumbo.

Forgot to add,

With Chris's help, this car has been taken to the track 4 times and has broken or reset the et record every time and the mph record the last two times

Chris has allready run 11.90 in his 260 with just a timing change on the cams, I think there will be some very quick Boss's when people start to play properly

Good stuff mate. I wonder if you'll be able to get your unopened beast into the 11's. A few more cold Melbourne nights and you should be able to do it bud!
