Default Such a n00b question

This is kinda embarrassing. I asked for a AU2 XR8 snorkel to put onto my EL, I went to throw it on then but it doesn't seem to fit. :alien2:

It was a quick attempt, Ill try again later, but can anyone confrim that the following part number is the correct one?

TAUTVE 9A624 A

Is that the right one? Should I be modding it in anyway?

The ea->xh was ALOT easier...lol

Oh and I found a air box clip in the bottom of the airbox, that was random

AU snorkel onto E-series should be fine... bit difficult for an 8 (requires 'some' forcing and re drilling of holes etc) On a 6 it should fit straight on, tho you may have to force it just a little bit...

You have to drill 2 holes into the frame to mount it, the holes on the AU one sit a bit forward from the EL one.

I got a TE50 one (its got tickford on it lol) and mounted it about 10mm behind the mounts for the old one. when you're drilling the holes, stick a bit of wood underneath the metal... avoids puncturing the radiator tanks... not that i know from experience... :P

Yeah they sit back not forward my bad

A little bit of self restraint and you should be able to avoid the radiator
