Default catalytic converters for ford ea

hey all
ok today i did some shopping for some extractors & high flow catalytic converter.
i got some many different stories it wasnt funny.
anyways are pacemakers the best choice?

secondly
what is the difference between the 2 different types of catalytic converters. ie comb vs the metal one.
i want longest lasting while still having good thruput.
so which one of the two types should i choose.
thanks

the 'comb' one i think has a ceramic centre and dosen' t like getting hit much. the metal one is good if your car is lowered. and by the sound of things pacys are the best

Well eveyone has there own opinion on extractors ..
But as for cats well i have a HUGE opinion on them ... well one of them ..
That is SUPERCAT ...DO NOT GET ANY CAT FROM THEM ..
I talked to them and said that i have a on l.p.g. mods blah, blah, blah, and they told me the best cat is there highflow
unit .. Well so i got one 2 1/2 inch flanged both ends .
i have had it in my car and done less then 4,000km and the thing broke up on the inside and blocked up my exhaust..
Since then i have rang them 5 times and asked to speak to some one and they never EVER return the phone calls ..

SO here i am with a youbute highflow cat that is CRAP not worth it and falls apart very easy .. SO easy that it has not even had a hit to it and it crumbles .. what a waist of 380bux.
So if i was you ask what sort of cat it is and then ask them if they could mod your own cat to fit the extractors you buy .

JUST DONT GET ANYTHING FROM SUPERFLOW as you will not get any warranty
