Default Auto stalling

Hi all, my old man has a AU1 fairmont auto, done about 90,000ks. When taking off it feels like its going to stall and sometimes does. What could be causing this to happen as its a pain in the ***.

G'day mate,
I wish I knew lol that's why I joined the forums to help broaden my knowledge try posting here you might have better luck than posting in the AU Workshop Build, there's also a couple of members who have posted the same problems so you might get what your after. Good luck :hihi:

check the obvious first ... leads , spark plugs , fuel filter /sender , gee even the injectors might be a bit blocked or crap fuel or water in tank , could be anything of the above or more , need to be a bit more percific , heaps of stuff discussed on this topic anyway , search the forums , gl ;)

cheers dude. ummm, leads have been replaced, plugs also, same with fuel filter, and we also ran some injecter cleaner through it. could the fuel filter be clogged as on idle there isnt as much pressure?
