Default Replacing 6 stacker

Gday guys,

Just wondering if anyone knows where i could find the adapter for the six stacker (prem sound) so i can drop a replacement in without chopping the wires, and also, has anyone had experience working with the factory subwoofer amplifier and remote amplifier turn on wires for newer cd players?

All i want to do is pull my six stacker out and replace it with an ordinary unit but maintain the premium sound!

Thanks dudes
Shannon.

I used the adapter on mine and run the original speakers, however the Alpine deck has an RCA for sub so I ran an rca to an aftermarket Amp and used the remote wire and ran a heavy core Power from battery. I run two sony subs and it sounds awesome. I think the pocket to go under the head unit was only about $14 from ford. By the way the volume control on the steering wheel wont work with the aftermarket head unit.

Hey again,

Ive been down to autobarn and it seems there is only one adapter for a standard AU stereo NOT the premium sound and the guys behind the counter said it will not be compatible? Is this right? Really i just want it for the connectors so i can wire in a new stereo. Ive been in the boot looking at the sub amp and it looks straightforward. Is there any amp for the rest of the speakers or do they all run off the deck? Ive had a look at russelw's schmatics (thanks dude) and i cant see one, but i dont wanna connect it all up without knowing! Thanks guys
