Default Saw A Holden Ute Driver Lose Control

There is this big sweeping s bend near my work..
the second sweep has a big positive camber

anyway somtimes i'll give the tail a tiny flick on the 1st sweep in the wet and dream how good it would be to have that corner on a track and link them up

i was sitting at a roundabout adjacent to the corner and hear somone blipping there throttle....looked over and saw a little old thing sideways around the 2nd sweep

then i see the holden ute hit the 1st sweep hard...lose it on the second....do a 180 and slam into a statesmen comming the other way..

not a great story but it was entertaining none the less
not too much damage...except maybe his ego

the thought of mr macho doing laps around this drift corner then losing it when his ego was at peaking point made me grin

it would have been a lot worse if the other holden didn't stop when he saw the dude spin out

I saw this happen in the wet once to a stock VY V6 Ute. For anyone in Sydney, it was at the turn off from Cleveland Street to Anzac Parade. Did the turn, totally normal speed, but instead of the car going straight it kept turning... and spun him to face the wrong way. Lucky for him he hit no one, but he was pretty embarassed. Some young guy wearing a suit and tie.

lol gozza, there was a guy following me to work this morning in a HD premier with a big mopar sticker on the front window. was loud as hell so i assumed hes got something nice under the bonnet. i flicked the last corner i have to hit before my work and he obviously took that as a thumbs up and came sideways all the way round it and nearly cleaned up some poor chick crossing the road.

It's an extra 100 points if you flick a pedestrian off the road with the rear quarter, rather than just mowing them down with the front end...

and an extra 50 if they were pushing a pram. You get a style bonus if you have to go onto the sidewalk to do it..

I had my ute give me a big scare in the wet.
Of camber, big round about, put my foot into it to get it sliding. It just went, before i know it more sideways than i'd like.
Anyway, wound on the lock, hit the steering lock and it still kept sliding out.
I did catch the thing, but it must of looked good

cheers

the other week i followed a new ss ute off the highway and i think he decided to outrun me all off a sudden...next corner, negative camber too the right he looses traction..left...right.left again and straight thru a old guys wire fence. Shoulda seen his face as he was watering his garden, but the funny part was there was a 4 foot drop on the other side of the fence and pretty much put his bonnet thru his tailgate.
DONT KNOW WHAT HIS PROBLEM WAS...I STUCK THE CORNER ALLRIGHT :voldar02:

I could see how it would be funny if the guy lost it and only destroyed his own car, but when someone who was doing nothing wrong gets involved, sorry but I wouldn't like to be in that situation. It's morons like this that are the reason for increased insurance premiums for everyone.
