Default Whats with the trading post

has anyone tried to register to the trading post ,you need to give them your credit card number now ,must be a new thing and i put in my bank card details as you can and it wouldnt accept for some reason. WTF!!!

Could it be that TELSTRA now own them and have found another way to rip money from ya?
