I've got a fresh new cam in the car that needs a testin'.
I won't be able to do this week ($$ + getting out early enough from work) but if there's a get together say on the 23rd I might be very interested in giving it a go.

It would be good to have a running thread(or new one each week) like the OFR guys have when they get people along and hit the track....

I had a ball out there as always, was alot of cars which meant I didn't get too many runs & they were mainly littlies which don't interest me a great deal but I was reasonably happy enough with my times I would have liked 11s but 12.1 @ 109 in full street trim including tyres is fairly close.

What a great night. It was my first, but definitely not not my last. Sorry B1B missed out (by minutes), I was looking forward to lining up the two ELs. As for me, I got 4 runs and suprisingly consistant I thought. 15.283, 15.238, 15.359, 15.353 (Last 2 were bad launches.

yeh I would have thought for those times you would have a better terminal speed too. I am obviously not getting off the line as quick 2.36-2.39 for the 60' but the terminal speeds are close. You are getting a good launch and mid range power must be good too. Interesting comparing it to a 6cyl auto.

Shit, what kind of tyres are you running on the street? You get a full second on me by the 60ft line. I run a 13.6 at 105mph.
Sounds like an awesome street setup.

They are Mickey Thompson Sportsman Pros which are as good as your going to get for a real street tyre even tho I run the skinniest they make as I don't even have my guards lipped so they still spin.
The car has mini spool, 4.11s & a 3800 stall on a manualised C4 I have 90/10s in the front too so all these things help get the power to the ground better. It's not my daily driver as I couldn't bare to leave it parked anywhere I couldn't see it but it is driven regularly. Last edited by MRJUCY; 17-02-2005 at 10:12 PM. |
