well after months of saying, i will do it i finally did. the T5 is now in
was a rather painless operation, and many thanks to arm79 and FairmontEL for there help with it all. there is only a couple of issues' i have, one is the handbrake light is on but have been told it will be the switch on the handbrake and the other is my cruise control dont seem to work :S apart from that its great! picks up really well. now i just have to learn how to drive it :P |

Make sure your brake switch is set properly in the pedle box. too far in and it'll be dropping the vac from the cruise system

snyperEB - it set me back around $1000-$1500 by the time you add everything up plus there is a few little bits and peices i still need.
ash - ill be in the 16's now seeing as i cant drive it properly :P fixed the handbrake light and also screwed in those brake and clutch switchs more so now they are closed so hopefully my cruise works now. |

Good work John. Looking at doing this myself soon, did you run into any problems?
Also, using the manual ecu, how much rewiring did you have to do? Presumably, your car would not have the wiring for the clutch pedal present? |

yeah it was amazing when I helped luke with his and we just plugged it in, everything worked a treat. I guess I was lucky with my car being a 3 speed no auto computers or crap. Though I still don't have reverse lights. :S
