Question O2 sensor

I need to measure the voltage of this to make sure it is fine, what there is two white wires and one black wire, wich wire (wires) do i use to test voltage? This should be around the 500mV mark shouldn't it?

Thanx very much.

2 things to check.

Firstly the resistance should be 4.5 ohms at 20 degrees C measured across the heater wire elements.

Voltage should be between 0.4 and 0.6.

As wire colours change from model to model I can't help with whjich ones - on late models they are White/Grey and White/Yellow.

Cheers
Russ

From memory,

Black is earth
One of the white is 12v for the heater
The other white is O2 sensor current

Make sure you measure voltage once the exhaust is hot. Make sure the voltage is oscillating.
