Default WP Fiesta Input Shaft Seal

Hi. I have a 2005 Ford Fiesta and the input shaft seal is leaking. I’ve removed the transmission from the car and the input shaft seal doesn’t want to come out. Can I separate the bellhousing from the transmission without having to remove the internals of the transmission?if I can separate bellhousing without having to take the entire gearbox apart the input shaft seal should be easier to remove and replace I hope
