Couple of scenarios here, the car is a genuine F6 stolen and rebirthed with XT tags, could have been a stat write off and someone bought a xt shell and did a body swap, could be a Blue XT and someone has done all the upgrades and resprayed it (last one possible but unlikely), even doing a vin check brings it up as a steel blue Falcon.
https://www.etis.ford.com/vehicleSelection.do The picture of the second tag does look like it has been masked and has a little overspray on the edges, they generally let you look at the car, go have a look. I find buying cars off Grays to be the **** that the yards dont want to deal with, they usually have problems and the yards dont want to deal with them so off to grays, no warranty, no cooling off, just some sucker to take the problem, the cars generally sell for more than they are worth so the dealer who traded it gets a profit on most occasions. |
