Saw this in Wangaratta today.
Heard it is to expensive to supply as Merc won't give them a stripped down version like BMW.

Price aside the C43 would be a good choice (turbo AWD V6), I wouldn't mind one of those for my next car (if I could afford it).
The V6 has a nice note to it as well with crackling and popping. |

Is this a C43? They're a nice car they have a 3.0-litre, twin-turbo V6 engine which knocks out 270kW and 520Nm. Can hit 100km in 4.7 seconds. I would love one as my next car. It will be interesting to see how much a three or four year old example will set you back.

Yes- if you were a driver wanting to prevent panel damage to a beautiful car.
It does require some difficulty parking on the edge of a zone to give a buffer zone to prevent muppets opening doors into your car's side.

Is it an offense to park on a painted island like he has, or not?

Just wondering why an assistant commissioner would have highway patrol written along the side ?
On the damage while parking thing, did you notice what was parked next to it.

I'd be assuming this was a loan/evaluation/goodwill vehicle, not purchased by the government but given by MB to VicPol for a period of time ... no different to some of the other stuff you see in Police livery from time to time.
