Default champion spark plugs

hi all ,,
i just went to repco , and got some champion spark plugs ,," champion iridium ,, 9808 ,," to suit a focus 05 ls cl .
got home and opened the box to notice they have no washers on them ..????

does the orig ones have the washers ,?
on the box it shows tightening procedures for both with washers , and with out ,,

what do i do ,,?take them back ,, or ok to use with out washers ..
would the " added " depth without the washers cause problems ,,? .

cheers in advance for replys .

Here is what the NGK replacements look like. The original Motorcraft plugs are apparently just rebranded NGK plugs. I have never seen any washers on my plugs, including the originals.
