Question any idea what rims these are?

I bought these rims recently, they are supposed to be Falcon pre-AU, they do fit the XE OK, I am fairly confident that the Ford centre cap is not original due to the fact they are held in with a few windings of masking tape -

Does anyone have any idea what they are, are they original Ford fitment, or are they just some random rims? They are 17 X 8

Thanks

Look a bit Random. If they were original ford normally they would be stamped with a part number.
Maybe look for a mfg part number and Google it.

Can't help with the identification but have definitely seen them before, fitted to various Ford from E-series XR's to Fairlanes. I can't recall seeing them an anying other than a Ford.

Don't mind them, they look quite good.

I had them on my old EF XR8, they are a nice rim and are not OEM at all.

I was told once what they were, but I cannot remember sorry.

Good lead - led me to this thread;

what name is this LWT wheel?

Same wheel, same question. Still no real answer.

I understand beating your young bloke!
My youngest (18) and I went karting a couple of weeks ago and that was my only aim
It worked really well until I got very tired in the last few laps but I still turned the fastest laps!

I see those rims seemed to suit Slees style more than Tlees style...
