Default Sport Button the truth?

Can anyone out their give me a definitive answer as to exactly what the Sport mode does in our ST's.

If we were to believe all that can be found on the interweb, Pressing the esc button to Sport Mode can;

Increase Boost
Change the engine mapping for a sportier driving style
Increase throttle response
Even increase engine noise!

Can't say I've really noticed any of this but haven't really managed to get the car out of the city all that much.

Would love to know the truth

Cheers

My understanding is that it does none of the above but that it turns off traction control and relaxed stability control to allow you some fun before it interferes and that if you hold it down for 5 or 6 seconds it turns that off also.

I thought it just disabled traction but left stability on. Not 100% sure though. It definitely doesn't change engine mapping or anything like that.

This ^ is exactly what it does. Traction control is disabled but stability control left enabled.
