Default Gearbox Noise?

Hi All

Just bought a new Trend manual LW MKII.

I have noticed a slight "whine" in 4th gear thats starts at about 70k/hr. Only happens when accelerating - as soon as you back off, the nosie disappears.

Is this normal?
Will this go away (only has 500 k's on it)?

Any advice for a first timer appreciated!!

Yes have same in my new sport. Will be reporting it at the 3,000k free check over.
Mine is noticeable in 4th and 5th at 60kph and above and a bit in most gears when accelerating.
Cant hear if playing music but will make sure it is on the report so if it gets worse
I will be asking for a fix under warranty.

Mine is definitely 4th gear only - as soon as you press the clutch to change into 5th the noise disappears. The noise is most noticeable between 70-90kph. I will also be making sure this is documented when it goes in for the 3000k checkup
