Default Oil leak

Just had a 30000km service on a 2011 Mondeo TDCi Wagon by a local independent. He noted an oil leak between the gearbox and engine with some oil staining on the bottom cover plate. Will take it to a dealer, but what am I looking at here? Is it going to be a quick replace the seal or something more serious?

Dealer confirmed a leak today but could not identify where it was coming from. They said it was minimal and less than a teaspoon lose over 20000km. How they came up with that figure with not previously seeing it is anyone's guess. Was told they would keep an eye on it! I would have thought that a car with 30000km on it a leak was an issue ... a leak is a leak. Anyway, dealer is small regional town and I'm not that impressed with them, so will probably have to end taking it to a larger dealer.

They are probably hoping that it was just spillage from the 15000 service.

Finally after 6 months, source of the leak has been found (so they tell me). Crankshaft seal is the culprit. Parts ordered and will be off the road for 3 days being repaired. Hopefully solved.
