Exclamation Suzuki India Production

Top Gear, May issue has an interesting article on Suzuki India..the plant builds a car every 16 seconds, 3,500 a day or 62,500 a month..487,500 tonnes of steel, use 3,750,00 litres of fuel, just to get the cars out the door, by 2015 Suzuki India will be building 2,00,000 cars a year!!!!! stats are incredible!!!

I'd like to go inside one of the big Asian car plants. The Ford/Changan JV plant will have a capacity of 1.5 million units/pa by the end of the decade I think it was, and this is just to satisfy domestic demand...

Is that the plant where the workers went nuts and killed a manager, and beat up a whole bunch of others, while destroying the place, because they were discriminated against?

It was one of the Suzuki plants in India.
