Default Replace cig socket in AU

I ve searched but I can't find how to replace the cig lighter socket in our AU2 forte. Can it come out from the front or does the centre dash need to come out to gain access? Some thing was jammed into the socket then removed now the fuse keeps blowing. 😠

From memory you need to take the stereo out. This will give you access to the ciggy bolt that holds it in.

Ok just had a look. Take the stereo out, take the ash tray out. There is 4 screws that hold the front panel in. Two behind the ash tray and the other two along the top outer edges of the stereo recess. This frees the front panel and it looks like the ciggy lighter just pushes in or pushes out once you undo the spade connector.
