Default XB ute with NA/NC Fairlane front

Does anyone know anything about this XB ute? Or have more pictures of it? I was doing a random google search and come across it and quite like it! Looks the goods with the lane/ltd front and the EL grill!

Normally I don't like this kinda of mod but this one is sweet.

Blarrghh, put the XB front back on, it one of the best Ford ever did.

But in saying that, its been nicely integrated, and doesn't suit it as badly as I thought it would.

This car was modded some years ago , I think the front looks very factory and suits the XB shape well .

It looks a bit like a 1980's El Camino.

And they were worried about keeping the XD ute body... What would this look like with an FG Front?

That's surprisingly good...when I saw the title, I read it quickly and simply saw "Fairlane front", and my mind immediately thought "Must be an old photo...that was extremely common back in the old days". Didn't realise it was a late model Fairlane front.

Different enough to be really good.

Quite like that....intersting with the el door handles too, would love to see a rear shot.

Just the grille looks a touch off, but the standard nc egg crate would look crap, so good stuff.

Looks nice, it is very nice blend between the 'new' and the old styling.

It was about 10 years ago when I saw this car at Summernats. Off memory it had (then) current Commodore wagon tail lights.

It takes time to get used to it, lots of work was put into fabrication.

As a owner of both an XB and a DC, I'd prefer to see this car with an XB front.
